Minimalism is the most demanding genre in bridal. Where a beaded bodice forgives an imprecise fit, smooth crepe shows everything: the extra centimetre, the uneven dart.

The result, though, is different. A dress like this is not dated by its season, photographs beautifully close up and does not compete with jewellery — you can wear your grandmother's earrings and they will be the accent.

In a minimalist dress, underwear becomes part of the construction: any seam or edge shows through smooth fabric. We raise this at the first fitting and show you what to wear under a particular model.
