A registry signing without a big celebration is half an hour in a room, photographs on the staircase and dinner with the people closest to you. A full skirt tends to get in the way: it needs space, a larger car and hands to carry it.

A short or column dress solves the problem differently. It reads as bridal through colour, fabric and detail without turning an ordinary day into a production — and, importantly, it gets worn again.

If the signing and the celebration fall on different dates, it makes sense to view both dresses in one fitting: it is easier to build two looks that do not repeat each other yet read as one story.
