A short dress is often the second one: long for the ceremony, short for the evening when the dancing starts. More and more often it turns out to be the only one — a grown-up choice, not a compromise.

Length decides everything. Knee-length reads formal, just above it reads light, and a true mini asks for the right shoes and a confident posture. We fit it in the heel height you will actually wear all day — otherwise the hem will lie to you.
