Wedding dresses with a slit

The slit was not invented for effect alone: it gives back the stride that a narrow skirt takes away.

In a long fitted dress the slit is also freedom: stairs, dancing and getting into a car stop being problems. The height is yours — from a restrained opening at the ankle to a frank thigh-high.

Look at it moving and seated, not standing at the mirror. A slit that behaves standing up can open further in an armchair than you planned — at a fitting you see that in a minute, at the wedding you cannot fix it.
